The opto-electronics research group is now in the Lee Maltings complex in a brand new building funded by Science Foundation Ireland. The Opto-electronics Group is affiliated to the recently-created Tyndall National Institute, which combines research activities of the NMRC and other groups in UCC and the Cork Institute of Technology.
