The opto-electronics research group is now in the Lee Maltings complex in a brand new building funded by Science Foundation Ireland. The Opto-electronics research group is now part of both the Tyndall National Institute and of the Physics Department. Our new address is now

25|11|2004: New Photonics Building in the Lee Maltings complex nears completion

The Opto-electronics Group is affiliated to the recently-created  
Tyndall National Institute, which combines research activities of the
NMRC and other groups in UCC and the Cork Institute of Technology.

Some new, enthusiastic workers have been drafted in!
