- The optoelectronics and non-linear dynamics research group is affiliated with both the Physics Department and the Tyndall National Institute. The Tyndall National Institute combines research activities of the NMRC and other groups in UCC and the Cork Institute of Technology. The optoelectronics research group is involved in the study of semiconductor lasers and amplifiers for applications in opto-electronics but also to study non-linear dynamics and quantum optics.
