Tim is the holder of a UREKA 2005 funded by Science Foundation Ireland. This award enables Tim to spend 10 weeks working in the Quantum Optics Group research laboratory over the Summer months and includes a weekly stipendium and a contribution towards his flight costs from Australia. Currently a student at Swinburne University of Technology, (Hawthorn, Australia) Tim is studying for a Bachelor of Science (Research and Development)/Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Computer Systems). His hobbies include graphic design, photography, guitar and physics.
