We are hosting a
small workshop on Quantum Engineering from 27th to 28th July
2005. Emphasis is on systems with applications in quantum
information and quantum computing. Spaces at this workshop are
extremely limited. If you are interested in attending please
e-mail snicchormaic@cit.ie.
The cost of attending is €25 (incl. lunch and coffee
breaks). Please click here
to see the workshop programme.

Accommodation
has been booked in Victoria
Lodge for
those delegates who have requested it. Breakfast will be served
in the small café at the Lodge.
Victoria
Lodge is located about 30-40 minutes walk from the Quantum Engineering
Workshop location. The workshop is being held in
the Photonics Building of the Tyndall National Institute. As an
alternative to working, the no. 8 bus stops outside Victoria Lodge and
close to
Tyndall on Mardyke Parade. You will find a map here.
Check-in
in Victoria Lodge is between 3pm and 10pm. Those
arriving on the 26th July can check-in immediately on their day of
arrival. If you are arriving outside these times please let us
know.
For
those arriving on the 27th July we recommend that you come straight
to the Tyndall National Institute from the train station/airport since
the meeting will be starting at 1.30pm. You will be able to
check-in to Victoria Lodge after the talks on the first day are over
(at approximately 5.30pm). We will arrange taxis to bring you to
Victoria Lodge from Tyndall at this time.
