NanoSci-E+  NOIs Project  (2009-2012)

anofibre Optical Interfaces for Ions, Atoms and Molecules

24th September 2010 - Annual Meeting will be held in the Physikzentrum, Bad Honnef, Germany. For further details contact Síle Nic Chormaic.

NOIs start-up meeting 3 Sep.  2009, UCL, London.

NOIs is a collaborative project with contributions from five European research groups:

and funded by the European NanoSci-E+ programme and national funding agencies.

The aim of the project is to use the evanescent field around tapered optical nanofibres as an interface for trapping and manipulating matter, ranging from single ions to microscopic particles.

Please check back for news and further updates about the project.

There are no open vacancies at the moment.
