THE COMLAB RESEARCH PROJECT

The main objective of the ComLab projectis to integrate different ICT tools in science and technology teaching. This approach centres on laboratory exercises, based on computer data acquisition and control systems accessed through interactive html documents. In these courses, the computer supported laboratory bench-top experiments are enhanced by computer simulations and other multimedia components (video clips, animations, graphics, etc).

The courses are available on the ComLab website and they can be also installed off-line; the project final products comprise novel state-of-the-art courses, hardware and software.

The project is supported by the EU Leonardo da Vinci 2 (Community Vocational Training Action Programme), project SI-05-B-F-PP-176008, Computerised Laboratory in Science and Technology Teaching - part 2 (ComLab-2). Collaborating institutions in BG, CZ, E, EL, LT, NL, PT, SK and SI (promoter)].
